So... After a lot of contemplation and procrastination... I finally jump on to the blogwagon!
Myriad thoughts crossed my mind.. What do I start writing about? Religion.. Sex.. Sexuality.. Politics.. Food.. Fashion.. And bingo... Why not start off with something that encompasses all of the earlier mentioned things! The Mark Zuckerburg (No clue whether I got the spelling of his last name right!!!) creation aka phenomenon... Facebook!
Well.. When I started off on the social networking bandwagon..years ago.. It was not even called social networking! It was simply termed as a chat site.. From chatting on Yahoo.. To rediff chat.. To India times.. To.. I don't really remember the others! Well.. Of course.. Orkut came along to change the face of mere chatting to social media-ing...and wham bam.. Along came Mark with the revolutionary.. Facebook!!
I have to admit.. Facebook can be addictive.. In fact.. Plain addictive is an understatement.. However, now coming to the point of my debut blog.. Amongst the various things that I simply don't get about Facebook.. Or rather.. I should rephrase it.. The patrons of Facebook is.. Check in!!!!
Really.. I wonder what really goes on through the minds of all the FB patrons..who.. Check in!!! Really.. So I open my FB profile to see that my Friend A.. Has checked in @ fucknowswhere! Friend B checked in @ fuckicare! Friend C checked in @ fuck..... And it goes on and on...
Pray tell me... What exactly is the purpose of a check in???
For all I care... Here I am.. Finally checked in.. To blogosphere! Oops.. I better get to FB.. Afterall.. It is time to see where my other friends have checked in....
